Everything you need to know
Vaccines, drop-off times, what to pack, and the fine print — all in one place.
Boarding
Do I need a reservation?
Yes — reservations are required for all boarding guests, and a card must be on file. Daycare doesn't require a reservation, though we recommend calling around major holidays when the facility is at its busiest.
What do I need on file before my pet stays?
- Proof of current vaccinations, given at least one week before the stay — dogs need Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella; cats need Rabies and FVRCP. No guest is admitted for any service without them
- A completed Policies form, Pet Profile, and Grooming & Boarding Agreement
Is someone there overnight?
Yes — the owners live on-site, and the facility has 24-hour security. Your pet is never left alone overnight, on weekends, or on holidays.
How often are dogs let out?
Boarders get 4–5 play sessions in the yard each day in our 10,000 sq ft yard. Your dog can be socialized with dogs of a similar size or let out alone — your choice. All dogs are supervised at all times in the play area.
What should I bring?
Your dog's own food, portioned into individual feedings in labeled zip-lock bags (marked AM and PM — we feed twice daily). Each pet has a 14"×18" cubby for their belongings, so no large bags or storage containers, please. Toys and treats are welcome, but we can't be responsible for lost or destroyed items, so leave anything sentimental at home. We provide bedding and bowls. If you don't bring food, we'll provide ours at $5 per day per pet.
Can you give my pet medication?
Yes — we administer medications up to 3 times a day, free of charge. For safety, we can't board pets on seizure or certain heart medications, or pets with epilepsy, diabetes, incontinence, or severe mobility issues; a veterinary boarding facility is the right choice for them. Pets on 3 or more medications need manager clearance first.
What are check-in and check-out times?
Both are scheduled when you reserve. Check-in starts no earlier than 7:30 AM. Check-out is by 12:00 PM — pickups after noon incur daycare rates (half-day until 3 PM, full-day after). Last pickup is 5:30 PM Monday–Thursday and 4:00 PM on Fridays; guests not picked up by closing stay the night at normal boarding rates, with free pickup until noon the next day. On weekends, boarding drop-off/pickup happens only during set windows — Saturday 10–11 AM and Sunday 3–4 PM — and daycare fees and checkout times don't apply; if you miss the window, pickup or drop-off waits until the next business day.
Do you board on holidays?
Yes — we board 365 days a year, including all major holidays. Holiday stays and the days around them require a 2-night minimum, and public daycare may be unavailable on those dates due to boarding volume.
How old must puppies be?
Puppies must be at least 4 months old and current on their vaccinations to join daycare or boarding.
Grooming
How do I book a groom?
All grooming is by appointment only — call us at (337) 424-8564 to schedule. Grooming is available Monday–Friday; we're closed for grooming on weekends.
What's your cancellation policy?
Please cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment. Cancellations inside 24 hours or no-shows are charged 50% of the scheduled service. For boarding, cancellations inside the cancellation window are charged per the boarding agreement — and rescheduling a stay keeps the original check-in date as the reference point.
